The 7 Most Expensive Golf Courses in the United States

Each year, when the Masters gets closer, golfers ponder the question of how much it would cost you to play at Augusta National Golf Club.

For us, at least, the venue for the PGA season’s opening major has a closed forum. All over the United States, though, there are plenty of famous venues for tournaments–including some which have hosted majors and are accessible to the public.

Naturally, it doesn’t cost a lot.

If your golf skills are like mine, then you’ll be able to take a tour of the course and earn our money’s worth from every club listed below. That is, if we’re kicked out of the system because we’re mediocre and slowing down the pace of play.

In 2004 in 2004, the Pete was designed by Alice Dye, and the Pete course was the PGA Championship host. The major was back in the Sheboygan region for the tournaments of 2010 and 2015 2007. U.S. Senior Open and 2021 Ryder Cup were hosted at Whistling Straits, too.

While it’s no longer included in the schedule for the year, however, the Old White remains a destination location for golf enthusiasts.
